The American Young Guns Championship is the first step in establishing a professional Grand Prix Racing Series for prototype racing motorcycles in North America. In creating the AYG the organizers of the US Grand Prix Championship support the general growth in GP racing interest in the USA, with opportunities emerging to provide higher-levels of racing for young riders wishing to move up in the sport, and seasoned professionals looking for more racing opportunities.

Racer Participation

The American Young Guns Championship is open to riders 12-16 years of age with residence in North America that hold an active competition license from a recognized roadrace club in the USA or Canada.

Rider qualifications include: an active racing license; available resources for travel, insurance and other needs to attend each race event; a mature and serious approach to racing activities; and of course, the need for speed!
